6FT. (2021)

Experimental, Short

6FT. (2021) is a surreal fever-dream about the isolation and suffocation of the quarantine experience. A collaboration between artists in Brooklyn and London, 6FT. seeks connection through an exploration of loneliness and forced seclusion. It’s recently screened with Cinequest (2022), Nitehawk Shorts Festival (2022), MOTELX (2021), Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival (2021), Underneath the Floorboards (2021), and online with NoBudge and Directors Notes.

“A visually striking experimental film brimming with colorful textures and vivid soundscapes…ripe with abstract meaning and metaphor.” - NoBudge

“Pazniokas channels the shared mental experience of what it means to be going through a global quarantine…even in its most surreal moments, her short highlights the collectiveness of the present moment and how we’re not alone in our issues.” - Directors Notes
